Meet Our Team of Certified Doulas
Labor Doula
Tori is a native New Mexican, born and raised in Albuquerque. She is a proud mom of 4 adult children and lives with her husband and their 3 dogs. With over 8 years of experience as a labor doula, Tori has supported families through a wide range of birth experiences, from home to hospital births.
She is a certified childbirth educator and trained in Spinning Babies techniques. Tori is deeply committed to continual learning and is always expanding her knowledge of labor and birth to better support her clients with skills, confidence, and compassion.
Tori believes that knowledge is power in birth, and that discovering what works best for you while feeling confident in your birth space and decisions is essential to feeling supported and validated during labor. She brings calm, grounded, and reassuring presence to the families she serves. Tori is honored to walk alongside families as they welcome new life, offering kindness, experience, and evidence-based support at every birth.
Tori Romero
My philosophy of birth is simple: you deserve unbiased, supportive, and evidence-based care. Birth is not one-size-fits-all. I believe deeply in helping you understand your options so you can make informed decisions that feel aligned with your values. Whether you envision a medicated birth, an unmedicated birth, a cesarean birth, or anything in between - I am in your corner. My role is to ensure your voice is heard, your choices are respected, and your confidence is protected.
In addition to doula support, I continue to offer birth photography services. There is something incredibly sacred about documenting the day your life changed forever - the strength in your face, the first cry, the way you look at your baby for the first time. These are moments you deserve to relive.
When I’m not attending births or meeting with families, you’ll find me homeschooling my children, getting lost in a good book, dancing in the kitchen while I cook and bake, playing with my labradors, or capturing other families’ special life moments behind the camera.
Labor Doula & Birth Photographer
Before stepping into the birth space, I spent 5 years as an elementary education teacher - a role that deeply shaped my patience, compassion, and love for guiding families through meaningful milestones. For the past 5 years, I’ve been immersed in birth work, beginning with birth photography and later earning my labor doula certification. I am working on my nursing degree with the end goal of becoming a midwife soon. Supporting families during one of the most transformative seasons of their lives is truly where my heart feels at home.

She has completed the Megi Health High-Risk Doula Certification Course, which provides specialized education to support clients experiencing high-risk pregnancies and more complex perinatal circumstances. She has also completed Pregnancy and Infant Loss (PAIL) training, further preparing her to provide compassionate support to individuals and families navigating pregnancy and infant loss.
As a Full Spectrum Doula, Katelin believes compassionate, nonjudgmental support should be available across the full spectrum of reproductive experiences. She honors each person's autonomy, values, decisions, and circumstances, meeting clients where they are without judgment.
Her background as a licensed massage therapist brings an additional understanding of the body and the role that therapeutic touch can play in physical comfort, relaxation, and body awareness. As a doula, she provides individualized emotional, physical, and informational support while helping clients feel informed, empowered, and respected throughout their experience.
Katelin is passionate about creating spaces where people feel safe to ask questions, express their emotions, make informed decisions, and receive support without fear of judgment. She recognizes that reproductive experiences can be deeply personal and complex and approaches each client with compassion, curiosity, and respect.
She is also continuing her professional education in lactation and working toward becoming an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Her commitment to ongoing education reflects her desire to continually expand her knowledge and provide well-rounded, evidence-informed support.
At the heart of Katelin's work is the belief that every person deserves to be cared for as a whole human being. Her goal is to create a supportive, grounded environment where clients feel heard, respected, empowered, and genuinely cared for whatever their reproductive journey may look like.
